Choose what
you want to share.

Think of one thing you want help finding or doing. Close passwords, payment details and private messages before starting a shared session.

Shared screen images and your voice are sent to cloud services for assistance. Sharing can continue as you move between apps, so consider what may appear next, including notifications.

Start where
the help happens.

If you already have the test app installed, open it on your iPhone. It may still appear as Screen Assistant.

1. Tap Start Assistance.
2. Read the screen-sharing explanation.
3. Choose Start Screen Sharing when you’re ready, or Cancel to leave without starting.

Voice guidance needs microphone permission. iOS asks separately for screen-sharing permission. This website cannot grant either permission or control other apps on your phone.

One more choice.

In Apple’s system sheet, choose Screen Assistant Broadcast and tap Start Broadcast. Opening the sheet alone has not started sharing.

These are separate stages. If the app says sharing is unavailable, don’t assume it can see the screen simply because you opened the sharing sheet.

Once sharing is active, say what you want help with. Open the app or screen you want to discuss. You follow the guidance by tapping and scrolling yourself.

If an instruction doesn’t match what you see, describe the difference. You can ask for an explanation or end assistance rather than following an uncertain instruction.
